Who We Are!

We are the Carters! Lisa (la Carter) Dan (Dan Dan) and Emma (Miss Emma).

Dan and Lisa met in Reno, NV on September 10, 1999 while Dan was on detachment with the Navy in Fallon. Dan lived in New Orleans, Lousiana at the time and Lisa soon followed. They were married in an old Victorian home on Esplanade Ave. in the heart of New Orleans on January 1, 2002.

A Navy move to Virginia Beach, Virginia happend one year later. The couple thought about having children, as Dan was getting "up there" at the ripe old age of 35, six years older than Lisa's charming 29. (Can you tell whose writing this?) and Miss Emma was concieved in late August 2003.

Nine months later on May 17, 2004 arrived a 9 lb. little girl who was dubbed Miss Emma Alicyn Carter. Emma for Jane Austen's literary work, Alicyn for grandma Alice on Lisa's side, and of course Carter, for the Carter's.

Now they are a family. Small, but tight. We look forward to sharing our family adventures with you and hope you entertained, informed and inspired!
