For the first time in 10 years, Halloween is cold again. Yes, I woke to frost on the windows and my breath showing itself in the chilly air.
When I left Reno 10 years ago and moved to New Orleans, I had no idea that October 31st would be hot, muggy and downright miserable. Then, 5 years later, when I moved to Virginia Beach, I was again, extremely disappointed in the warm weather that seems to occur every year this time. But not today, oh no, today is a beautiful Halloween day. I am nostalgic, reminiscent, giddy, excited. My favorite holiday complete with my favorite weather.
It's perfect.
