Milestone Moments

This past Tuesday, we registered Emma for Kindergarten. It's a milestone moment in our little girl's life. I can't help but think about the new independence she will have, the new friends that she will make and the scary things that will be out of my control. It's exciting and scary at the same time. She was beyond excited to visit her new school where all her future classmates were seperated into groups for a tour of the school. They went off in little lines, leaving us parents behind to do the hard part. Upon returning they were treated to a little snack in the cafeteria where Emma excitedly told us about going to the school library and taking a bus ride, which she has literally been aching to do for about three years now. I am just so very excited for September 8, 2009 when Emma walks through those doors for her first day of school. It's going to be a milestone for Mommy too!
